Famous Landmarks

Rob Beck

After graduation, Brooklynites Adam and Eugene head to San Francisco looking for adventure and a few dates with the local dudes before tackling the challenge of real life. But as the visitors take summer jobs and explore the city, real life is an adventure wherever they go.

Along the way, they meet Randall, surfer, darkroom technician and perpetual student, who volunteers as their guide to the hidden attractions of the Golden Gate. Randall’s environmentalist friend Oliver is smart and ethical, and would like to find a boyfriend. He’d make a good one himself, if he could just learn how to talk to guys. Tech worker Jason is living his dream with creative, easygoing Gustavo. It’s all Jason could’ve imagined, yet something feels just out of reach.

Set in the Bay Area moments before the transformations by social media and smartphones, Famous Landmarks is a romantic comedy with a sense of place.
